In Ricky's words, here's a bit of info on his background:
"I was born and live in Manchester, England. From an early age I was always interested in art, drawing always being my strong point. I gained my 'O' level in Art and later studied at Rochdale College where I gained a National Diploma in Art & Design. I currently work as a Care assistant working with clients with Learning Disabilities, however I do commissions, mainly portraits in my spare time. I am a big fan of the group 'Simple Minds' hence the portrait on the page."
